Scholarships


New scholarship forms available on-line. Students in the College of ETCS may check with their department's secretary for applications, also. If you are planning to be admitted for the Fall 2008 semester as an incoming freshman, you may print the on-line high-school form, complete it, and return it as directed. All scholarships are due on March 1, 2008. Scholarships vary in amount and availability each year. Most are awarded in April. For more information, contact 260-481-6362.

Additional scholarships may be available through Financial Aid, including the Chancellor's Merit Award which is intended to increase diversity in the IPFW student body. Up to 100 awards are available for beginning IPFW students who are classified as non-Indiana residents. Students receiving the awards may attend IPFW at in-state csts for tuition and fees.

  • Engineering, Technology, and Computer Science Scholarships for Excellence
    Criteria:
    Students can be full-time or part-time. Full-time students will be committed to completing either the associate or baccalaureate degree on a full-time basis and have taken at least 12 credit hours in the Fall 2007 semester and also in the Spring 2008 semester. MUST plan to take at least 12 credit hours for the Fall 2008 semester. Part-time students will be committed to completing either the associate or baccalaureate degree on a part-time basis and have taken at least 3 credit hours in the Fall 2007 semester and also in the Spring 2008 semester. MUST plan to take at least 6 credit hours for the Fall semester 2008 and not be involved with a company tuition refund program. Scholarship is also available to incoming freshmen.

    Applications can be picked up from the department secretary or download this PDF version. The National E-Week Scholarships scholarship requires a separate application (the deadline for this scholarship is January 31, 2008).

    High school students who are enrolling into civil engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering, please use this application.

  • Company-Sponsored Scholarship with Possible Internships:

    For current students and incoming freshmen interested in applying for a scholarship and a possible company internship. Application form.

  • National E-Week. Please read the guidelines regarding the Northeast Indiana Engineers Week Committee Academic Achievement Awards. Qualifying students are eligible to win the award a maximum of two times. Applications must be postmarked not later than January 31, 2008 to be considered.
